International Buses to PulaItalyTrieste is the best jumping off point for buses to Pula as there are up to four daily that make the 3 3/4hour run. The timetables are geared to Pula residents who run up to Trieste to shop or work, not for Trieste residents who vacation in Pula.There's also a bus from Padua that stops in Venice and Trieste before heading to Pula. You cannot book online but it is normally not a problem to get a seat at the last minute. These buses are highly reliable and distances are relatively short. Domestic Buses to PulaBuses are frequent to Rovinj (40 minutes), Rijeka (2 1/2 hours), Split (10 hours) and there is one daily to and from Dubrovnik (15 hours; see the schedule at buses from Dubrovnik).
