Croatia is a popular destination for vacationing Slovenians who usually find themselves in Istria or the Kvarner Gulf. Even though there are no direct flights between Slovenia and Croatia, there are plenty of other options. Here they are: Trains from Slovenia to CroatiaFrom Ljubljana, there are at least three daily trains to Zagreb that arrive in less than 2 1/2 hours. From Zagreb you can catch a flight to Dubrovnik or travel to Plitvice Lakes National Park and then go on to the Dalmatian coast. Want to explore Istria?
