Autotrans bus

All buses to Dubrovnik stop at the Dubrovnik bus station. You cannot book bus tickets online. See more about buses in Croatia.

Domestic Buses to Dubrovnik  

From Zagreb to Dubrovnik       

Dubrovnik is linked by eight buses a day to Zagreb (11 hours)  which includes several night buses. See more about booking buses from Zagreb.

From Split to Dubrovnik

There are about 13 buses a day from Split to Dubrovnik which take from 4 to 5 hours. The buses take the coastal route but make different stops so you may be able to board at Brela, Baska Voda or Makarska. See more about buses from Split.

From Zadar to Dubrovnik

There are about 7 buses a day from Zadar to Dubrovnik which take about 8 1/2 hours. The buses take the coastal route and most stop at Vodice, Sibenik, Primosten and Trogir as well as the towns south of Split.

From Korcula to Dubrovnik

There's an early morning bus every day (and an extra on Sunday) from Korcula to Dubrovnik that takes about 3 hours. It stops in Orebic on the way.

Note that buses take the road that passes through Neum which is part of Bosnian territory. You may be asked for your passport, so keep it handy. You do not need a visa to pass through Bosnia-Hercegovina unless you needed a visa to enter Croatia.

Other

Further afield, you can get four buses a day for the 12-hour ride from Rijeka (see the Rijeka bus timetable) and one from Pula and Rovinj. These are overnight buses.

International Buses to Dubrovnik

From Bosnia-Hercegovina to Dubrovnik

There's one bus a day from Sarajevo that takes about 6 hours.

There are two buses a day from Mostar that take about 3 1/2 hours.

There's one bus a day from Medugorje that takes about 3 hours.

From Montenegro to Dubrovnik

There are three buses a day from Kotor that take about 2 hours.

There are three buses a day from Budva that take about 3 hours.

There are five buses a day from Herceg Novi that take about one hour.

From Serbia to Dubrovnik

There are two buses a day from Belgrade that take about 10 to 16 hours.

From Italy to Dubrovnik

There's one bus a day from Trieste that takes about 15 hours.
